Who manages my staircasing application?

The Resi Homes staircasing team. You build the application here and send it in one piece, and from there the approval of the extra share and completion sit with them. Before that, your account shows their process and the people they recommend for each stage — which is usually the difference between weeks and months.

Will my home with Resi Homes be on Stairpay yet?

It should be — Resi Homes has connected their shared ownership records to Stairpay. If your address is not recognised, there is usually a simple reason. First, check you have selected the right landlord. Then check whether you already have an account and are trying to create a second one — logging in will tell you. If neither is it, email helpdesk@stairpay.com and we will look into it for you. If you have bought recently, there can be a short delay before your home's data reaches us, and we can check that for you.

Is Stairpay free for me?

Yes — always, for every shared owner. Resi Homes pays for Stairpay so that you can use everything in your account to make decisions about your home and your future with confidence. What staircasing costs you — the valuation, the legal work, anything your lender charges — is separate, and Stairpay stays free whatever you decide to do.

Can I use Stairpay if I'm not planning to buy more yet?

Yes, and it is worth doing early. An account gives you your home's value, your costs and the ability to test scenarios for the future, whether or not you ever buy a bigger share. There is nothing to decide by opening one.

Is Stairpay an official Resi Homes service?

Yes — Resi Homes has partnered with Stairpay so that their residents can use it. Everything you see about your own property is provided by Resi Homes, which is what makes the account specific to your home rather than general advice.

Do I still contact Resi Homes directly for repairs?

Yes — nothing about repairs changes. Resi Homes looks after the building and everything that goes with it. Stairpay covers the other side of being a shared owner: your property data, your lease and planning what comes next.
